Thanks… a LOT!

Can it be Thanksgiving week already?  Well, not too many years ago, it was even a week earlier…make that Franksgiving.  How did the 4th Thursday of November become a national holiday?  When?  Find out in this short History Channel video

Give us grateful hearts.

This week, we’re going to practice gratitude related to current events.

So, YOU bring the contemporary event and we’ll all explore them with our attention focused on thanksgiving.  And come with at least one short story of a memorable Thanksgiving past.

DON’T forget the Holiday Bazaar – THIS Saturday, Nov 22, from 9 am to 1 pm.  Come spend $$ and feel good about it.  Challenge yourself to buy 5 Christmas gifts.  Since it’s all donated and the proceeds go to charity, it’s like anti-consumerism.  Come experience God’s abundance!

See you there.  And 9:15 Sunday morning downstairs in the library.  Bring a friend. And canned veggies for a friend you haven’t met yet.    John
