Kit and John will be away this weekend and have asked if I would be interested in leading a discussion, possibly related to hospice since that’s what I do for work. I had heard a story on the radio that I would love to share. It references an essay How Doctors Die; It’s Not Like the Rest of Us, But it Should Be.
I recommend listening or reading the first, but also strongly recommend reading the second. Have you thought about your end game? Your loved ones’?
People avoid the discussion because it seems sad. But what’s sadder is the alternative.
See you in the library at 9:15. Michele
PS – please remember to bring breakfast and or lunch food for Family Promise which starts this Sunday. And help with the set up after 10:30 service would be appreciated as well!
